Last fall, the TV business took a giant leap into the
future as content providers began unchaining their
content from the TV set and porting it to other
platforms. It was the big story at CES in January,
and since then the trend has only accelerated. To
see how one major programmer is playing in this
multiplatform space, Tom Umstead, Programming
Editor of Multichannel News, spoke with David
Zaslav, President of NBC Universal Cable, in our
