The 2006 National Show was originally
slated to be in New Orleans, but Hurricane
Katrina forced it to be moved to Atlanta,
home of Cox Communications. Ironically,
Cox operates the cable systems in the four

from the storm, and is preparing for the
next hurricane season, Steve Nelson went
down to New Orleans and spoke with
several key Cox executives there.
